heat of your words, by Invisible Poet
|
you make me so warm and bubbly
with the lighter in your voice
then you sit their quite smugly
never noing the joys
joys of redemption
gazing in to your soul
so please give me your attention
where your heart was, now is just coal
you burn everyone around you
with the words of hate and despise
maybe i can change your hue
and help you see the lies
just take the heat out
throw it away
let me tell you what im about
why at your words i sway
because you take out your anger
on everyone but yourself
you put everyone else in danger
you make their life a hell
so god i dont understand
why you want only to hurt
and if your such a big man
why do you treat everyone else like dirt

i am by no means a crossbeater and have no religion to call my own when asked i simply say agnostic so religious poems mean nothing to me |

i like this. i at one point was a very big christian then things changed. your last four lines really express my confusion towards the religion thing... |
