like a painter brush strokes the canvas My pencil meets the blank page I hold fast till my fingers purple and numb The empty page mocks me in such a way I remove myself to release the piercing stare Does everyone look at me this way? But wait, hold on stop this madness Its only a page a blank page How can it cause this turmoil? How can I free myself...... From the grip it holds me under I scream stuck in space "Free Me" I avert my eyes from the cruel page Curses still fresh on my lips Only to find a small mark across the page Lifting my curse and setting me free at last. Wow, this one's really powerful! Expresses well and I love your way with words!! The personification and imagery really paints a good picture for the reader!

specifically just for this poem i am leaving this comment....if you would like to know what i do to write it is simply this....for some reason multiple ideas of poems always pop up in my head and i begin to write. i can write an entire poem just by thinking of a title i think would sound good for a poem..also the same vice versa when i start writing about something an interesting or overall good in my opinion of a title pops in my head....hmm i guess basically the main thing is is that I continously have ideas for new poems some i dont get the chance to write and also i have never had writers block before...but anyways i hope this helps you some...(also getting ideas absorbed from the outlook on other poems made into ones own idea)..comment me sometime!
