My Eyes and Your Eyes, by Invisible Poet
|
My eyes never glassed before
my eyes never truly saw
but your eyes judged everything i wore
they saw my every flaw
your eyes twinkled
as my heart you tore
and my eyes shed the tears
that fell to the floor
your eyes tell my story
think about what you will sever
if you tell me sorry
as i close my eyes to you forever
your eyes were only playing games
as my eyes were lured in
not knowing that me you meant to maim
now my eyes are closed and never again will they sin
