Broken, by Chalan

Broken minds and broken lives.
We can no longer live in lies.
You no longer love me and neither
do I.
Our love was once so strong.
Where did we go wrong?
No more happiness.
No more laughter.
What had happened to our happily
ever after?
I had loved you more than life
and had every intention of staying
as your wife.
But my love slowly disappeared and
all that is left is pain and tears.
Broken dreams and broken hearts.
We now find that we are better off
apart.
