All Our Lives, by Shine-On
|
All our lives we're told how to live
And forced to keep our thoughts
But they say that they'll give us choice
But No's the choice we've got
They look at me and think they know
That they know just how I live
The things i do and the places i go
And all i have to give
Right or wrong my acts are mine
You can live your life your way
But don't think that I'm bad because
I don't replicate your day
I"m not you and will never be
So think just what you will
I know just who I'll be in life
I'll never feel your judge
You may look and think of me
Doing alcohol and all the drugs
Having sex with tons of girls
And hanging out with thugs
How I am to how you may think
Are far from what they are
And I can tell you everything
But you'll just call me a liar
It's never about the truth involved
It's just what you believe
Nothing to do with what I've done
Just what you've conceived
So no matter what I'm always wrong
It isn't about what's right
I could tell you all the truth in this
And we'd still have this fight
