The Outcast, by Julia Anne Subscribe to rss feed for Julia Anne

The outcast I will speak of here

No one would even go near.

Except for one single, special person

Whom Julie loved till her life was done.

It seems I neglected to tell you

That Julie is the name of the girl in this tale I am telling
you.

And the name of that person, the only one who dared come
near

Was a girl named Lanier.

She saw nothing wrong with Julie, nothing at all.

When Julie was mocked, bullied and pushed around

Lanier would step in, and pick Julie up off the ground.

But one day they made it so that she could not get to
Julie.

And took Lanier away and locked her up somewhere no one
could see.

They tortured poor Julie till she fell back dead

None of them cared in the slightest about this strange
girl,

However when Lanier was found dead on the floor

Some said “HA!! We should have done this before!”

Others said “What have we done?!?”
