Frozen in time!

As he looked my way, i waited "Say something"- I wanted to cry out! And there we stood, frozen in the moment, waiting for the words. they would change everything all that we had worked towards for all these years. His eyes lowered, and i knew it was the end before he opened his mouth i wasn't sure i wanted him to talk anymore i just wanted to get away to avoid listening to anything that he would have to say but i couldn't get myself to move. "I'm sorry" the whisper barely escaped his mouth and i had to turn away i fled the tears running down my cheeks to never return to never go back to the only place where i had ever felt at home. and there he stood, watching me run, frozen in the moment! A long time ago, but the memory still remains frozen in my mind!
