Dependent on me you may be, but I am not your Decider….

By Tyler Cedric Golden •
You say I’m the boss, you say it’s control,
Well hold on a second and try to grab a hold,
On to your own sense of direction and the way you lead your self in life,
Giving up now shows no will to live, and no power to fight,
So if you think I’m something such as a controller, well maybe it’s because you ask for it in a way because you feel like you need me to,
It’s like I’m your compass when your confused and don’t know what to do,
You must take me as some sort of leader if you always ask for my help,
You’re dependent on me, like you don’t need anybody else,
But understandable that very much is in a sense of loneliness,
You’re alone with no one to guide you and your just frozen as you cry and sit,
But I’m here for you as long as you tell me I am not the full percent of an influence over the actions you independently make,
An influence I may be on it, but the absolute answer is not by me but you and you need to take,
Blame for what you choose and do not put such obstruction upon me,
I’ve done nothing but help you as you can clearly see,
So change your ways and do things only by choice and out of respect for the ones you love,
Before you go to sleep tonight think about this as you look up at the mysterious space in the sky above,
The decider in your situations is not me but you,
You do it in your love and respect for me, but you need to be honest and true,
That you are the one that makes the choices and the one that makes mistakes,
Please learn from this lesson, so your choices are from now on honest and self-made,
And that nothing you ever say again is a lie or in other words fake…
