Storm Catcher, by bedazzled
|
You watched
from your vantage point
in the sky
as I fell.
You just wandered
over cloud banks,
you just lingered
in the rain.
I thought you were
an angel,
waited for you to swoop
on feathered wings
but I just kept
falling
as you played with
the thunder.
You weren't you
anymore.
I thought maybe
a thermal
would lift me back
to you.
I thought maybe
there'd be sunshine
to lift me up again.
But you just tiptoed
amongst the lightning,
you just watched me
break.

hmmm an interesting poem and nice symbolism....although in a way it is hard to understand from anothers point of view...it can also be easy to understand as well...good job. |
