Once Again (Devoted to Ty Young and friends)

By Tyler Cedric Golden

Once again another life has vanished right before our eyes, While everyone is crying in depression, we all ask ourselves why, So many people this year and so recent, why they had to die, And leave us so unexpectedly as we all move along with our routinely organized days, We all look down and don’t understand why some people walk away, Don’t hide your feelings; it’s ok to show pain, It’s such a horrible feeling and a symbol of sadness such as the freezing drops of rain, Are shown so swiftly this year even if they are unwanted or not, Once there was a person there, sitting in that spot, The next thing you know your eyes are open to what really occurs in the world, So confusing it seems, like you’re lost in an unstoppable twirl, Or a cyclone And this new feelings that are now being known, Are so absolutely horrible to recognize and feel, It all seems absolutely unreal, Once again there was some one that was always there for us, but that specific person appears no more, All we can do is hope and pray, that he has walked through heavens door, To help each other through these emotions and to be there forever, This event is not so easy to pass, such as the wind carrying a feather, Far more difficult it is and shall continue to be, but in the end we must all move on, Even though we lost one of our old growing bonds, Now things are changing and life seems to alter and accelerate, Hopefully for the ones we love and care for we will not be late, When they need us most, and for some one to be by their side, Easier these feelings shall be able to be shown, instead of having to hide….. Once again we go through a tragedy, that is not wanted at all, We were walking so steadily, but once again, together we fall, But united, we shall once again stand tall, If it takes us to stand from before as we once again crawl, Turmoil and unwanted sadness is not worth another brawl, For we are here once again to support each other, all as friends, And we shall all make it through together, once again side by side, to the very end.
