Self-Control, by Tyler Cedric Golden
|
You ran out of fear, you fought out of hate,
You sit there meditating on your own debate,
Why you let your emotions, go to such an extreme degree,
Now you sit there wondering, and you begin to realize and
see,
One of your friends lying on the floor,
As you’re sitting by the door,
And notice that was has happened is absolutely true,
Don’t let your emotions get the best of you.

You have a wicked way with words. Simplistic and complex at the same time, if that makes sense?
