Stakes, by Tyler Cedric Golden
|
If you like to gamble, how high will you allow your stakes
to go,
What could happen is random, you never know,
If you let things go to far,
You could end up broke or even worse, making things hard,
The addiction is harsh and extremely strong,
You keep playing for so very long,
And if it were at the stakes of anothers life,
Would you take the chance, or would you do what's right? |

LOVE this poem. Wow so short but really Powerful. The question at the end is strong and really gets the mind's wheels turning. Its like the oblivious gambling addiction and life at the same time. This poem leaves a lot for the reader to think about. Felicia Mac |

I can't help but be jealous you can right so often. But slowly I'm able to write more. Since the Block I've been able to write again I just hope its good. |
