Never Needing You, by MorbidMaiden
|
I don't believe in love,
And I know life is a lie.
All I know is hatred,
And my darkest wish to die.
I don't care where you come from,
And I don't care who you are.
I don't need your naive point of view,
Or your pathetic so-called charm.
I'm happy in my darkness,
And my shadows bittersweet.
I don't need your garish torch light,
And the lies that lay beneath.
My doors are firmly closed to you,
The entire human race.
I only need myself this time,
To save me from my fate.
Your fake smiles and sickly temperment,
Just make me feel so sick.
Your little words can't hurt me,
Nor your talent to "predict".
I don't fit trends or patterns darling,
I'm not your perfect pill.
Don't presume you know me,
You should know you never will.
