Beauty Of Our Innocence , by Felicia
|
I strained my eyes to look, to see
A figure emerging form the snow dusted street
Clasping hands we walked together
The wind was piercing cold
Bringing our bond closer than before
We swung our arms
Our movement was magical
Sparkling in the falling snow
I felt strong and fearless
In your strong embrace
Nothing could bring me down
I inhale the frosty air, feeling it enter my lungs
Your warm touch comforting me
The feeling of ecstasy running through our lips
Our energy becoming one as you trace my neck
Your sweet breath whispering in my ear
Your eyes hold mine
Passion flowing through
Showing the beauty of our innocence

yes this is a very good poem i like the feel it gives plus the detail and vocabulary used in this...you did a fantastic job and thank you for your previous comments..and yes the darkness of my more recent poems reflects the darkness upon my life...but once again great job! |
