Stricken.

By Tyler Cedric Golden •
You feel it slide across your soul
and deep into this binding hole,
That affects your actions, your control of sense,
You are trapped behind this steel-plated fence,
Not knowing were to go, not knowing what to do,
You sit there and wonder why you appear so confused,
Or in a more sensible direction, why you are so paralyzed,
It is a retched and horrible emotion, deep down inside,
You feel like by a snake you have been bittten,
But in the depths and abyss of your soul you have been stricken.
