By Felicia

So she stands there in front of the world Like a open book to be peered at To be discussed, to be criticized To me marked on to be prodded at And her response is nothing but a blank stare Cold and reserved like a stone by the road Picked and thrown, kicked and trampled Like a marionette on its puppet strings Made to dance, laugh, and entertain And this, the story of her life Is like a open book, Shown to the world Felicia Mac
