Your is Red, Mine is Black.

A lot we have been through, tough obstacles we have overcome, But my perish song is crawling towards my essence, and as I hear the beat of its drums, I feel my heart pound, Like I am bound, To absolute death with no escape, no turning away, In this place is where I must stay.... As old memories flash back, I remember right before she died, Mom told us to each take a rose, no questions why And told us, whichever path we take, can lead to either end, The path of happiness and love, or the path of hate and sin, Because it was to difficult for me to take this pressure, Now I pay, for soon I will be gone forever, For I chose the black rose, and you chose the red, Yours mean you eternally bleed, mine means I am dead, On the optimistic side, yours speaks of eternal love, But mine has no positive side, just a life opposite from above…. Now as the grasp of death takes hold of the vessel in which I dwell, I can already feel it in my heart, the presence of hell, You cry in front of me watching me go, Without your brother known as I, you think you will not know, Where to go and what to do, You sit there and keep cutting because you’re confused, But all you can do is bleed, and feel this sorrow inside your heart, It was one or the other, an untold destiny from the start… Just remember move forward in happiness to gain the optimisms of your future, do not worry about me, For I am gone forever and soon you will see, That you can not live in regret, start fresh, don’t ever look back, I chose to die instead, that’s why your rose is red, and mine is black. Wow ... i read every word of this. usually big stuff i skim read but this was lovely, you became who you were writing about to give a real perception of what they are really going through. If this is a new direction i say take it, you have so much promise. Honestly i think your past the part where you still need my opinions, your magical and you know it. Felicia Mac
